About the Grand Prix Overall
Q  What is the Kawasaki Poster Grand Prix?
The Kawasaki Poster Grand Prix is a contest to produce the poster that best captures Kawasaki’s spirit of assault on the MotoGP. It is being held in 41 countries.

Q Can anybody enter?
Entrants must be a resident of the qualifying countries/regions for the Poster Grand Prix, and must be able to obtain a license to ride a 1,000cc motorbike in their country/region of residency. Please see the Entry Guidelines for a list of the qualifying countries/regions.
Residents of countries/regions where entering to win Grand Prix prizes is legally prohibited and employees of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and affiliated companies are not eligible to enter.

Q Do I have to purchase a Kawasaki product to enter?
Purchase of a Kawasaki product is not required to enter. Purchasing a Kawasaki product will in no way increase your chance of winning.

Q Do I need to have experience in poster design and production to enter?
The Poster Grand Prix is open to both professionals and amateurs. Those without experience in poster design and production are equally welcome to enter.

Q Are there any limits on how many posters I can enter?
No, there are no limits on how many posters you can enter.

Q ‘UTC’ is written after the time that entries close. What does ‘UTC’ mean?
UTC is an abbreviation of Coordinated Universal Time, the global standard for time. The time difference between UTC and local times in your country can be found by doing a search on the internet.

About poster production
Q Are there any colour and size requirements?
Posters may be produced either in colour or black and white, but there is a set tone that must be used for Kawasaki’s lime green brand colour. Poster size must be 728 mm horizontally x 515 mm vertically (Data size requirements: 5,800 pixels horizontally x 4,100 pixels vertically). See the Poster Requirements page for more information.

Q Are there any restrictions on the use of languages and words?
As the Poster Grand Prix is open to entries from multiple countries and the winning posters will ultimately be distributed to countries worldwide for display, there are restrictions on the use of words and written expressions in poster artwork. See the Poster Requirements page for more information.

Q Can I use photos of Kawasaki machines and riders?
You may use the photos of Kawasaki racing machines and riders which are available for download on the Design Elements page.

Q Can I use a privately taken photo or original illustration?
Use of a privately taken photo or original illustration must not infringe upon the copyright, portrait right or any other right of another person. Use of a photo of a racing machine or rider taken privately at a racetrack, for example, may violate a copyright or portrait right, and will therefore render the poster ineligible to win. Q Are there any rules concerning the format of poster data entered?
Poster data will be accepted only in JPEG format.

About the judging and awards
Q Who are the judges? And how will the judging be conducted?
The judges consist of officials from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., Kawasaki MotoGP riders, and officials from sponsor company Bridgestone Corporation. For information about the points on which the entries will be judged, see the Judging Criteria.

Q How can I find out the results of the judging?
The results of the preliminary judging will be announced via placement of the posters that passed the preliminary judging stage on the website. The results of the final judging (of the Grand Prix, Sponsor Award, etc.) will be announced on the website after the winners have been notified directly.

Q How will I take possession of my prize if I win? 
Prize-winners will be presented with their prize at their nearest Kawasaki distributor or branch office, depending on their country of residence.

About voting
Q Are there any restrictions on who can vote?
Voting is open to anyone of any age who resides in one of the qualifying countries/regions for the Grand Prix. However, residents of countries/regions where entering to win Grand Prix prizes is legally prohibited and employees of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and affiliated companies are not eligible to vote.

Yes, you are welcome to participate solely in the vote.

Q Can I cast as many votes as I like?
No, the number of posters that voters may vote for is limited to prevent unethical conduct such as concentrated voting for a specific poster. For more information, see the Voting Guidelines.

Q Can entrants in the poster contest vote for their own poster?
Yes, entrants may vote for their own poster if it passes the preliminary judging stage.
